Weeks 7-9 (June 19th - July 3rd)

There are officially 23 days until official fall... it seems our weather has taken the hint. It's raining and pouring and I'll bet some old man is snoring. I think it was me... except for the fact that I'm not a man and not really old. In other news, I just realized how horribly horrible I am at blogging... pretty freakin' bad. So, in order to redeem my blogging skills, here's an overview of everything up to my first "real" appointment:

June 19th (Week 7) --
Initial consultation at the Allen Ob/Gyn... nothing spectacular to report besides the expected... "we're probably going to need some blood eventually"... that's the thing about trypanophobics... they really can't do the whole needle thing. Anyway, chose to have first appointment with a midwife... Sandy. She works with the Amish, so hopefully she can work with me. We'll see in a couple weeks. We currently think I'm around 9 weeks.

June 26th (Week 8) --
Impatiently waiting... during this time I lost count of how many times I expressed my want for an ultrasound and also how many times I mentioned how someone would be in pain if I didn't get one (part of me really didn't believe I was pregnant). On a separate note, Emily gave me rent! Yay! I feel rich. Oh wait... bills. *tear* I feel poor again. :(

July 3rd (Week 9) --
Ha ha ha ha ha ha! I was so sure I was 11 weeks. All I could talk about was how relieved I was to almost be out of the 1st trimester! But hey, July 4th is the next day... what could be so bad about a grill out with flags everywhere...
July 4th (9w1d) -- It's raining. Poop.
